Great Family Ski Getaway
We visited as part of a large group (8 adults and 5 children) ranging in ages from 1 to 95 — all of our first time at a Club Med. Read a lot of Tripadvisor reviews and watched a lot of YouTube reviews and overall I would say the positive ones were more accurate to our experience.
First of all, the team is fantastic. Fitness classes with Anaïs and Sam were great ways to either rest from skiing or keep the non-skiers busy. Our daughter was in Baby Med and the whole daycare team, including Marine, Mathéo, Gaelle, Béatrice, Ana, Kassandra, Anae, and Bastien, were so great and took such an interest in our 16-month-old. (Others in our party took advantage of the kids skiing and they had the best time.) Activities included painting, playing in the snow, and a trip to the pool. Most days, she leapt into one of their arms at drop off and cried when it was time to go. The ski shop crew (Ainslie, Jack, and a few others whose names I didn't catch) were also super helpful in getting things set up. Bar service was always fantastic (Raphael, Jay, Zacharie). Nightly entertainment was actually great... in addition to amazing spectacles from the acrobatics team, was also fun to see so many faces from around the resort up on stage including Hugo.
Photography is an upcharge but we found it to be worth it. We had a few set-ups and candids over the course of our stay with Alessandro, Mikayla, and Mario. Expect to pay $23-$29 per photo if you want to purchase... kind of steep but honestly some of the photos they got were better than some professional shoots we've had in the past.
The skiing was fantastic...some of the most spectacular views I've ever experienced either on-slope or off. Actually had to just stop on the side of the trails multiple times just to to take it in. Weather was BITTERLY cold during our stay...I only wish I'd taken the gondola more often to warm up between runs. Most of our party also did the sledding offered by Le Massif, which is a 7km trail that was very exhilarating (another guest encouraged us to check prices on Le Massif's site vs. booking via Club Med excursion desk, so keep that in mind).
The pool did get pretty crazy after 3pm, but during the day was generally peaceful. Hot tub, as stated, is pretty small and not that hot. Spa services were good... massage was good, allowed access to an adults-only area (tranquility room with separate hot tub, which also wasn't that hot).
Reviews that mention kids running wild around the hotel is pretty accurate. Didn't have too many issues, although at the end of our stay a child was riding around on a scooter without any enforcement from staff which seems pretty unsafe for everyone.
Food overall was great. Didn't hear anyone in our party try something and not want more. Great mix and match of single-serve portions prepped in front of you, self-service stations, etc. Service in the dining room was so good...water carafes always being refilled, plates being cleared within moments of you finishing. (I'd only say it would be great to easily more access new silverware/napkins because ours would get cleared away and we wanted to get more delicious food).
Dinner service is a little bit late (6:30pm during our stay), which was a bit difficult for the <2s in our party. Sometimes had a bit of a struggle in keeping them busy between the end of daycare and start of dinner, often hanging out in Le Grand Chalet which was a bit more peaceful. We found out on our second night that when occupancy is at a certain level, they do open up the side dining room for larger parties which was fantastic — quieter, a little more private, easy access to desserts ;)
Overall, I would highly recommend for families or large groups or if you don't mind a lot of children running around and having fun. For couples without kids, it may not be the best as there really aren't a lot of kid-free spaces.

Incredible Family Trip!
This was our second time booking a week at Club Med Charlevoix. We are a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 Kids) already loyal to Club Med style.
We absolutely loved our week. Starting with the Mini Club where our kids got to meet their incredible GO teams, partake into circus activity, shows, and meet news friends. A huge thank you to Arthur (supervisor Mini) for his incredible professionalism, his ability to connect on a human level and his joyful and vibrant vibes. His charisma and sense of humour during the kid’s show made it so irresistible. He went the extra mile to make our stay memorable.
The Mini team was also truly connecting with our kids, special thanks to Agathe, Paul, Bastien and Felix!
We don’t watch the adult shows as we go to bed early, but we do watch the kid’s shows. The GO team is acting on stage each night, making it very touching for the kids.
On the slopes, our kids participated to a week class and both graduated to the next level, making our ski together on the last day a true blast. Marek the master of snow had such an impact on our son, thank you for all the coaching and teaching him great skills Marek (hired by Le Massif, not Club Med).
At the Club, there are so many ways to invest in your health. Hugo leads the sport team with brio, and a huge thank you to Bianca for the great yoga classes.
The ping pong tables are also a massive hit.
The food was so delicious all week. We loved aperitif at Le Chalet and dinner at the main restaurant. The staff is always fast to clean tables and help you with empty plates or to fill up your wine glasses.
Our only wish would be to warm up the amphitheatre room during the evening ;-).
So overall we highly recommend this destination if you want to have fun with your family, connect with GO teams, partake in multiple activites and enjoy delicious food.
Bravo Club Med Charlevoix, once more, you surpassed our expectations. Merci a tous!

Family winter break
It’s an amazing winter break for family. Ski in and out is a very cool experience as well as the daycare service. Staff is friendly and helpful, the space is clean and surprisingly the room equipped with bath tub. So you may have a hot water bath after skiing. I joined the beginner snowboarding lesson and the coach Philip is so patient to teach us.

Overall good experience for a no stress family trip
If you do not want to cook, plan, go out, or complicate your life in any way, this is a great option. Logistics were easy. Skiis and boots were in our locker. Smooth processes. Shiny looking but still decent food. Easy access. Could return!
