BEST SKI RESORT FOR FAMILY

Club Med Tignes is a very good resort for families, especially in terms of skiing. The location, access to the slopes, and ski facilities are excellent.
However, the overall level of hospitality is extremely disappointing. I would specifically like to mention that only Ciro from the shops, Baran at reception, Huso at the kids club, and DOUG, the head of the ski equipment department, were genuinely helpful and professional. Apart from them, most of the staff appeared indifferent and unmotivated.
The food quality is mediocre. Billing mistakes at reception happen frequently — I strongly advise guests to carefully review their bills.
What truly stood out in a negative way was the attitude of the bar staff, who often seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming. For example, one morning at 7:55 AM I ordered a coffee and was left waiting for about five minutes without any explanation.
Even more frustrating: when I requested bottled water for my room, staff did everything possible to avoid providing it. Instead of helping, they made the process unnecessarily difficult, which is completely unacceptable for a resort of this standard.

My experience with maya, alix and Lenny was amazing I would recommend it forever we would always dance they are also really supportive and funny I think I made a new best dreams I would recommend for everyone to meet people like them. Will forever cherish this memory ❤️❤️❤️❤️

What a great place! We’ve been to a few and this sits as one of the best CMs. Straight out to Tichot and a quick push to Bollins. As always the food choice is first class and the rental equipment is top notch. You are in Val Claret rather than Tignes itself but you really don’t need to go to far as there’s plenty on site. There’s a pool inside with hot tub outside - pool is fresh! 🥶 Decent gym facilities and the spa looks good although it’s either slopes or bar for us!

Lively evening entertainment which never fails to amuse. Rooms are great - we were on the 7th floor and away from the lift so really quiet and beds are super. Bathrooms do the job - shower over bath is so-so - sometimes leaks - goes hot and cold and could do with a better ‘overhead’ option rather than handheld. But hey - a niggle rather than complaint.

The diamond of this resort as for so many are the people who work there. They will always have to manage an eclectic range of clients but they do it so well and maintain such a high level of customer service with a smile. They are one of the reasons why we keep coming back! I’ll miss so many but a shout out to Emilien and Joao for their wine advice, Beatriz and Ziko for helping us with our rooms and stay, the housekeepers (legends!) and Cecilia behind the bar - a ray of sunshine after a long day and always serving with a smile! Good work CM Tignes!👏

Loved this property. Everything was great … the skiing, the ski instruction, the food, the staff, the breadth of activities. Would love to return.

Our second club med ski trip after a fantastic visit to alpe d huez in January...
Tigne is bigger for sure both in relation to the resort and ski area
We arrived early evening and the ski room and kids club staff were fantastic in sorting us out quickly so we could enjoy our first dinner.
We travelled with my parents and the only reason I have dropped a star is the confusion and hassle in relation to our wrist bands and lockers which was frustrating....they did nt ski but their lockers were allocated to us so our wrist bands did nt work...this took a few days to sort and in the end I had 2 wrist bands...
Also the temp of the hotel is set I think at 21 degrees....
At alpe d huez we could turn up the radiator in the bathroom to dry swimwear or damp socks etc...this was not possible... I did ask for a heater but not delivered until day 6 of our holiday..
The positives now after my moan!!
My mother thoroughly enjoyed aqua aerobics every morning.
There a a great vibe amongst the staff and the kids club was absolutely brilliant... Sorry I did nt get individual names but they are such a kind caring group...they asked me about toms diet and really cared. Thank you.
When your child is happy you have a great holiday.
The esf are professional and superb as always.
Food was great...only thing I would add is as my parents didn't ski they liked a more leisurely breakfast and commented that things were closed down quite early ...and in very short supply by 9 am ...
Entertainment was great especially the music night in tribute to the different decades
Special thanks to the South African bar man who was a true ray of sunshine and made fantastic cocktails.. a definite asset to the club med resort
Looking forward to our next club med in less than a week in samoen s and will report back!!
