Sahoro Hokkaido Japan

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always making sure we felt at home. The food was fantastic, although some were cold (not warm), with plenty of variety to suit all tastes. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained, providing a great place to relax after a fun-filled day of snowboarding.

Excellent family stay in Club Med Sahoro for 1 week. Great location with nice slopes, great snow, no queue at the lifts. Staff super friendly and competent. Special thanks to Dodo who was a fabulous instructor for our 2 teenagers.
Food was very good too!

Shout out for Dodo with the teens club, kids had a blast ! They loved the experience and we felt very safe leaving them in good hands.

Special shout out to Dodo, Pauline, Stefan, Maxim, Aina and Shiho who we met last 2024 March and enjoyed their hospitality so much we came back this Dec to spend Christmas with them. As usual, they are just phenomenal at not only being hosts and their jobs; but fun friends! Adding on to the list of special GOs who went the extra mile to make us feel at home and also improved our skiing experiences are Liam, Cameron and Yuko. I would like to specially give my heartfelt and sincere thanks and admiration for such an energetic and full of kindness GO Ribka. She made my daughters feel so safe and always ready to speak to them like they are her world even though we believe she must be so tired from a full day's work. Yet, she will always hug, smile and talk to our kids whom they adore so much. Thanks also to Deri and a new GO Sergio.
Despite having no complaints on any GO and loving clubmed for its luxurious hospitality and entertainment, I do not appreciate that year after year, and this has marked our 3rd time visiting sahoro Clubmed, they do not improve on activities for the family. Other resorts have already introduced more snow activities for days that some do not want to ski. Sahoro has always only have barbecue on snow as the extra snow activity. This they can highly improve on. They should start introducing sleigh rides, snowmobiling, snow tubing, or other fun snow activities. these can also give patrons other options of snow fun than just skiing and snow trekking... hope improvements can be made and we will be back Dec 2025!

We have been to Club Med Sahoro several times over the years. We have also been to the opening seasons of Tomamu and Kiroro. While Sahoro is the oldest of the Hokkaido Club Med resorts, and some facilities and rooms could do with an upgrade, it is still great value. Not too many people on the slopes so no lines at the lifts. Skiing and snowboarding for all levels. When we were there this past week the weather was fabulous - beautiful sunny skies! Food was also good - Hokkaido crab, raclette, Beef Wellington and a great Japanese selection. (Dining room was refurnished during the pandemic I think.) Must commend the GM Logan on his energy - he is there in the morning when you have breakfast and there at night partying and ensuring guests are looked after at the bar. He also does some spectacular performances. Also easy on the eyes - he looks like a Korean pop star! Others I would like to commend are Jayden and Hasan at the bar, Liam in the dining room, Dogan (who miraculously remembers us from previous trips), though there are others I can't remember the names of. As always, the staff are friendly and helpful. Always a great family holiday.
