Sahoro Hokkaido Japan

This was my second time choosing Club Med. After a great experience at Kiroro Peak in 2024 with instructor King, I headed to Sahoro this year and was pleasantly surprised to see some familiar faces!

The Incredible Team (G.O.s):
A huge shoutout to Haily, the Chef de Village. I’m constantly amazed by her radiant energy and how she always looks so polished and full of life. Also, a special mention to Mimi (I hope I got the name right). Her choreography is top-notch—she dances with such confidence and soul. Beyond the stage, she’s a true all-rounder; you’ll see her making gyoza in the restaurant or serving takoyaki at the bar. She is truly the heart of the guest experience! I was also deeply impressed by the Aerial Yoga performer (I unfortunately didn’t catch her name), whose performance was absolutely captivating and professional.

Snowboarding Progress:
I want to give my heartfelt thanks to two fantastic instructors: Max G and Asger. On my first day in SB1, Max G’s demonstrations were so clear that I regained my confidence instantly. Despite not being on a board for a year (and having a rough, coach-less time at Appi Kogen last year where I was terrified of toe sides), I managed to nail my falling leaf and both C-turns. Max G really gave me the "boost" I needed!

By day three, I moved to SB2 and "survived" Asger’s assessment! It was my first time ever doing continuous S-turns, and I even successfully managed them on steeper slopes. Both Max and Asger are very observant and provide precise adjustments that actually work. I still had to "rebuild my courage" every morning, but I hope to be even more fearless and turn with total freedom next year.

Kiroro vs. Sahoro:
If I’m being honest, I preferred the food and evening entertainment at Kiroro, but Sahoro’s Chair Lift 1 run is absolutely unbeatable for practicing fundamentals!

A Minor Suggestion:
The only minor downside was the pillows, they were very soft, which made it hard for me to sleep. The staff did provide a firmer one when I asked, but I think I’ll bring my own memory foam pillow next time.

Overall, a wonderful memory. I also want to mention Bruce (a fellow Taiwanese) at the front desk and Vicky at the boutique for their kind help during my stay. Thank you, Team Sahoro! See you, Club Med!

Fabulous family holiday with every need taken care of in a most spectacular fashion so we can just focus on having fun. Special thanks to Dogan, Benz and Chef Sachin for spoiling us with exquisite food every single meal and even bringing us delightful treats straight from the kitchen.
As ever, forever in love with the fabulous ski team headed by the incredible Stepan. Truly one of the most efficient and yet joyful teams we have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

I am reviewing for F&B. The main restaurant selection is quite good for the capacity. It would be good to have some tempura selections. We would like to commend some colleagues from Club Med Sahara who has made our experience smooth and great.
Bruce form counter, restaurant Ben and chef Sachin, Chef Golf and Candra as well as Doran.
Ski instructor Matt was awesome. Our group of 8- all game him a thumbs up.

Feedback: the night show was quite disappointing. It was not engaging. A live band would be great.
Izakaya club - would love to see more selection like tempura and mini hot pot.
Overall, we enjoyed our time with Sahoro.

Super nice food here. Can you imagine we have snow crab buffet?

Cozy, good size and simple slopes. Staff are warm and friendly!
