Skiing, snowboarding: memorable thrills for kids and adults alike
Every day, you can improve your moves during sessions offered in the morning and afternoon. When you want to, you can head off with your instructor and the guests in your level to tackle the pistes of resorts in the French, Italian and Swiss Alps and in Asia and North America. Whether you're a beginner, intermediate or expert, you'll be part of a group with the same skill level
"With a safe environment and the group effect, the conditions are right for enjoyment of the snow", explains Thierry Mazouat, Ski Service and Mountain Activity Manager.
At Mini Club Med, children also get to enjoy lessons in skiing (from the age of 4) and snowboarding (from the age of 8). The G.Os and the instructors from the national ski school make sure that the kids' holidays are unforgettable.
As for the teens, they get to try out new skills thanks to the multi-sport pass included in the All-Inclusive Package. Freestyle, boardercross and half pipe will no longer hold any secrets for them.
Snowshoe trekking, Nordic walking: so you can breathe the mountain air
Your poles dig into the powder snow, your footsteps follow the rhythm of your breathing. With winter treks included in your stay, you can fill your lungs with the fresh mountain air.
Whether you prefer walking boots or snowshoes, a fast pace or something more gentle, your mountain guide will show you the way. Follow the path to happiness. With Nordic walking, you can explore your surroundings at a rhythmic pace that gives you time to contemplate the landscape. In Valmorel , the panoramic outing includes a trip in the ski lift to the Col de la Madeleine. An almost flat terrain at an altitude of 2,000 metres where you can relax and watch the marmots and ibexes.

Extra ski activities to extend the winter sports experience
The G.Os are available to book you an extra session. A huge range of offers is available to you, depending on the resort.
Laurent Hudry, Club Med Head of Centre, in charge of instructors at Valmorel, advises you to try the snake slide* as a family (from 7 years of age): "On ten sledges attached to each other, you slide down the piste at Pierrafort. The instructor is at the controls to ensure your safety. Fun and laughter guaranteed."
Other activities offer you the chance to explore the resort in a different way. Pedal over the snow on a fat bike*, a mountain bike with extra-wide tyres, or slide on your stomach on an airboard*, an inflatable sledge. Made-to-measure winter sports for all the family.
